Description of Duties:

 

• Responsible for establishing, maintaining, certifying, loading and documenting an electronic data management (DM) system in accordance with applicable government regulations, standards, instructions and policies

 

• Manage the delivery, review and approvals of data items submitted in accordance with contract requirements, agreements or other mandates

 

• Develop DM metrics to assess achievement of DM requirements objectives

 

• Maintain DM activities in master the schedule (i.e. CDRL Deliverables schedule)

 

• Responsible for establishing, maintaining and documenting CDRL requirements for system development contracts

 

• Develop CDRL Schedule, manage CDRL distribution list & provide data submittal training

 

• Implement the Directorate DM processes consistently and effectively

 

• Understand and be able to facilitate a Data Requirements Review Board (DRRB) and all the steps leading up

 

Requirements for the Position:

 

Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of related experience

 

• Thorough knowledge of the CDRL development process

 

• Excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills

 

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

 

• Experience with recommending and implementing military standards and DM best practices is desired

 

• Knowledge of MIL-STD-973, MIL-HDBK-61, DoD-5010-12-M, DoD-5015-2-STD & NSS 03-01 is desired

 

US Citizenship and an active DoD SECRET Clearance are required for the position.

  • To establish and maintain effective business relationships with operating management and to project a positive and pro-active image of Maritime Audit Services.
  • To provide supervision, training and coaching to staff on an ongoing basis.
  • To undertake relevant training, networking and studies as required ensuring continuing professional development and adherence established maritime audit standards.
  • To perform investigations, as assigned.
  • To perform any other reasonable duties as and when required.

Qualified candidate will provide research, writing, editing, production of print, and electronic/digital materials in support of naval, maritime, and missile defense programs. One must have proven experience in crafting and implementing communications strategies, plans, and programs; develop supporting materials intended for internal government and external audiences. An understanding of the creative and production side of all print and electronic media and event is required. Candidate must have experience working with printers and design projects. Must be able to research, write, and proofread copywriting, write press releases, articles, and reports in a timely manner. Qualified candidate must have proven skills to meet deadlines and able to work under pressure. Ability to work independently without need for direct supervision is a must. Direct experience with Navy programs a plus.

 

Bachelor’s degree in Communications or Journalism and minimum ten years of related experience are required. One must have exceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills. Ability to follow instructions is required. Description of Duties:

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

•Support management of the specific Government office human capital development efforts

Secondary Responsibilities require the incumbent to provide backup support to the Financial Analyst who performs the following functions:

 

•Plan and manage current and projected budget versus funding in a specific Government office; participate in strategic planning; prepare justifications.

•Monitor expenditures; maintain the office financial records.

•Create documents to fund office functions.

•Analyze and report funds execution and status, focusing on the impact of funding decisions.

Requirements for the Position:

 

•Bachelor’s degree in Business, from an accredited college or university.  An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

•7 years relevant experience.

•Three years supporting DoD acquisition programs desired.

•Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

•Knowledgeable on other MS Office Suite products; (Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, etc.).

Description of Duties:

 

The Acquisition Logistician shall accomplish logistics support tasks as necessary to support day-to day operations within the Simulator Division. The Acquisition Logistician shall perform various tasks related to the planning, development, implementation and management of a comprehensive, affordable and effective systems support strategy. He/she shall have understanding of the Air Force’s 12 Product Support Elements (AFI 63-101, paragraph 3.39.3.4.22): sustaining/system engineering, design interface, supply support, maintenance planning and management, support equipment/automatic test systems (SE/ATS), facilities, packaging, handling, storage, and transportation (PHS&T), technical data management/technical orders, manpower and personnel, training, computer resources,  protection of critical program information and anti-tamper provisions. The Acquisition Logistician shall provide support with the Transportation Plan development and the Defense Transportation System process.

 

The Acquisition Logistician shall serve as the focal point for planning, managing, and coordination of life-cycle logistics support for a major weapon system or subsystem. The Contractor shall be responsible for planning, managing, and coordinating the total cradle-to-grave life cycle logistics support for assigned systems or subsystems, integrating separate functions of supply, maintenance, procurement, and quality assurance into logistics activities required to sustain the system fielding. The Contractor shall monitor functional and supporting organization compliance with milestones and performance criteria. The Contractor shall coordinate and integrate taskings as needed for execution from different functional organizations. The Contractor shall continuously evaluate the status and effectiveness of program support in all functional areas to ensure support plans and time phased schedules are follow by all involved. The Contractor shall identify conflicting objectives and priorities, analyzes deficiencies, and takes necessary action to ensure programs are kept on schedule. The Contractor shall recommend policy and regulatory changes, as well as program enhancements. The Contractor shall gather facts, and develop conclusions and potential recommendations relative to any matter having a significant impact on solutions to problems requiring command attention because of their criticality or involvement with high-level policy. The Contractor shall review programming documents and assesses the impact of external actions and conflicting priorities to determine their impact on the development, production, and integrated logistics support and ensures programs are within established plan parameters. The Contractor shall exercise technical leadership to obtain agreement on required actions, schedules, and the resolution of conflicting points of view concerning program or policy matters.

 

The Contractor shall have a working knowledge of the DSOR Process; including Title 10 United States Code Section 2466, Limitations on the Performance of Depot-Level Maintenance of Materiel, as amended by the National Defense Authorization Acts (NDAAs) of FY98 and FY02 (50/50);  Air Force Systems (SMART, LIMS-EV, REMIS, DSOR II, CAM, ETIMS, JCALS, etc; NSN Stock Record Accounts and Supply Systems Technical Orders, Technical Manuals and the Technical Order process; Life Cycle Logistics Plans, Life Health Assessments, Unit Compliance Inspections, etc. The Contractor shall have an understanding of the Theories and principles of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) planning, development, and execution sufficient to coordinate and integrate functions into a total, well structured, and viable program System life cycle concepts and design as they apply to system research, development, and acquisition. The Contractor shall have a working understanding of Contractual processes, procedures, and technical requirements. The Contractor shall plan, analyze, and coordinate a system or portion of a major system’s acquisition and transfer into operational use; to include the identification and correlation of specific requirements for money, manpower, material, facilities, and services needed to support the program; and develop and analyze data to determine logistics objectives and goals, identify support requirements (including funding, contract development, and other technical support requirements), and establish relationships between participants involved in deploying the plan. The Contractor shall effectively communicate, both orally and in writing about the DSOR process.

 

The Contractor shall have a working knowledge of logistics and maintainability programs, to include technical evaluation and identification of weapon systems logistics requirements and resources. The Contractor shall develop logistics support and maintainability programs or plans as well as systems acquisition requirements analysis. The Contractor shall have an understanding of budgetary or financial analysis and control and lifecycle cost analysis and control. The Contractor shall have an understanding automated information system (AIS) hardware and software standardization and compatibility; Product Support/Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Cost (RAM-C) program test and evaluation planning and execution; and, Product Support/RAM-C analysis and assessments in supportability planning. The Contractor shall collect, compile, analyze, investigate, research, or apply logistics, maintenance, acquisition or financial data and information. The Contractor shall develop, modify, prepare or validate documentation in relation to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems, and management information systems.

 

The Contractor shall manage, monitor, evaluate, and coordinate Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) implementation. The Contractor shall manage and monitor acquisition projects throughout their execution. The Contractor shall monitor functional and supporting organization compliance with milestones and performance criteria. The Contractor shall coordinate and integrate taskings needed for execution from different functional organizations. The Contractor shall continuously evaluate the status and effectiveness of program support in all functional areas to ensure support plans and time-phased schedules are followed. The Contractor shall identify conflicting objectives and priorities, analyze deficiencies, and advise the Government of actions needed to ensure projects are kept on course. The Contractor may recommend policy and regulatory changes, as well as program enhancements. The Contractor shall gather facts and develop conclusions and recommendations relative to any matter having a significant impact on solutions to problems requiring command attention, because of their criticality or involvement with high-level policy. The Contractor shall review program documents and assess the impact of external actions and conflicting priorities to determine their impact on the development, production, and integrated logistics support to ensure programs are within established plan parameters. The Contractor shall apply technical and management skills to obtain agreement on required actions, schedules, and resolution of conflicting points of view. TheContractor shall exercise technical leadership to obtain agreement on required actions, schedules, and resolution of conflicting points of view.

 

Requirements for the Position:

 

•Active Secret security clearance required.

•Ten years of acquisition experience, five of which were directly involved in a aeronautical weapon system acquisition logistics.

•Bachelor’s degree in Business (Project Management) or equivalent combination of education and experience required; Master’s degree preferred.

•Knowledge of establishing and determining the ability of assigned equipment and subsystems to meet design requirements, and experience in determining that the design requirements are met for the integration of system into a complete operational aeronautical system.

•Knowledge and experience in interpreting operational requirements, determining subsystem interfaces, and analyzing risks and design trade-offs within limitations imposed by cost, performance, production schedules, and supporting requirements.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking an experienced Avionics/ Electrician Technician to train the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) Air Force (AF) personnel on Augusta Westland AW-139 avionics maintenance and avionics maintenance supervision. Individual will develop a tailored Program of Instruction (POI) that will support delivery of training to selected Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) Air Force (AF) personnel.

 

*  This position is located in Beirut, Lebanon.

 

This Security Assistance Training Team is one of several being provided to the Lebanese Air Force in support of increasing the Lebanese Air Force’s operational readiness. This training team is being provided as part of a Security Assistance Training Program that directly supports US Foreign Policy and the execution of Department of Defense Security Cooperation Plans and Programs. This is the third year of a multi-year US Assistance program.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

•         Increase the LAF’s combat readiness by providing personnel who can maintain the AW-139 and supervise aviation maintenance to the standards set by the ITEM manual for each airframe.

•         To train LAF AF Technical Wings equipment repairmen in the skills and knowledge required to operate, troubleshoot, perform and supervise AVUM/AVIM level maintenance procedures on communication, navigation, and automatic flight control systems and direct support maintenance procedures on associated wiring harness antennas for the aircraft.

•         Increase the LAF’s combat readiness by providing personnel who can maintain AW-139 aircraft electrical systems and supervise aviation electrical systems maintenance to ITEM manual standards including basic electronic training (BET) and maintenance supervision.

For over nine years, AMERICAN SYSTEMS has supported the delivery of training services to foreign military personnel in support of US foreign assistance programs.  There are no upfront out of pocket expenses for persons hired.  All travel and transportation arrangements will be made and paid for by AMERICAN SYSTEMS.  Living expenses are paid by AMERICAN SYSTEMS with all employees living in western-style secure accommodations.  Work is performed five days per week at a Lebanese Military Complex.  Persons hired will be full-time salaried employees of AMERICAN SYSTEMS.  There is no requirement/authorization to carry firearms.
