Maritime Security 2015 West provides discussion and collaboration on strategies and technologies to counter maritime security threats encountered by governments, law enforcement, and port/terminal owners and operators. Interactive workshop sessions are designed to give all conference participants the actionable knowledge on how to better secure their maritime areas of responsibility, mainly by stressing the importance of collaboration, efficiency, and best practices. Each topic will be addressed by relevant perspectives of those who have implemented successful strategies and technologies in their maritime security operations.

Candidate shall have a bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline and a minimum of nine (9) years of professional engineering experience. At least four (4) years of the experience shall have been as a team leader or supervisor performing engineering management functions and at least seven (7) years of the experience shall have consisted of performing engineering functions with respect to aircraft E3 systems engineering and/or E3 T&E. Will act as E3 engineering team leader or supervisor developing engineering procedures and’ controls, managing project efforts, and taking the lead in problem resolution. Candidate will apply engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, and evaluate Naval airborne platforms, weapons, and avionics with respect to E3 systems engineering. Will attend preliminary, critical and other design reviews to ensure E3 requirements are properly defined and implemented. Also, review and prepare engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation ensuring E3 requirements are considered in the design and implementation scheme. Candidate shall apply E3 engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance, testing, acquisition, and resource management. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Educational Requirements: BS/BA in Business Administrations, Management, Public Administration, Corporate communications, Management Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or Operations Research.
Specific Skills: Project Management, analytical skills, facilitation; familiarity with the government organizations and structure; business process improvement; performance measurement.
Experience: 5-10 years of Federal Government resource management or analysis, planning, procedures and systems.
Superior oral and written communications skills.
Current Full Scope Polygraph required.
Ability to travel
